Mountains of the Moon clothing is created
with the conscious + stylish in mind - those of us who care
about the environment and fair labor practices who also want
to look good in what we wear. From start to finish,
our garments are designed, patterned, manufactured, dyed and
tagged (using eco-friendly materials) in the USA in
small, 100% sweatshop-free facilities that are
family owned and operated. We choose to use
eco-friendly materials like organic cotton, hemp,
and
tencel
that are known for their beauty and quality
.
Based in
Chicago,
and called a "pioneer" of the eco-fashion movement by
Fashion, Evolved, Mountains of the Moon
designer Melissa Baswell Williams has been featured in publication and
blogs that include Boho Magazine, TreeHugger.com,
Women's Wear Daily, EcoSalon, Eco-Chic Weekly and
Style Hive. |

Baswell Williams is a regular speaker at green events where she engages
audiences on the positive impacts of choosing to wear
sustainable fashion. Her work has also been exhibited at
Chicago's Museum of
Contemporary Art in Chicago and in the Museum of Sustainable
Style. The Mountains of the
Moon collections are available at over 100 boutiques and select
retail stores, from California to New York to Australia to Japan.

If you aren't sure exactly what to order, we are
more than happy to put together an order for you of our
best-selling styles and/or designs that will work best for your
type of shop, your location, and the specific market to whom
you cater.

For wholesale information, including
current price lists, terms and conditions, and payment and
shipping information, we will need your
store name,
reseller or tax ID number,
mailing
address,
website (if
applicable) and the type of
merchandise that your shop
carries.
We are currently sold out of stock from our Winter 2012
collection,
and have made the decision to focus mainly on
retail for 2013. We can, however, produce certain
designs specifically for stores, usually with a minimum quantity
of 50 pieces per design with a 4-6 week turnaround. If you are
